Muchos proyectos de ley están pendientes de que tratan de ayudar a los adultos jóvenes indocumentados traídos a Estados Unidos ilegalmente cuando hijos. He aquí un vistazo a algunos de ellos.
 

El 30 de mayo 2012 el congresista David Rivera (R-FL), introdujo la Ley de STARS en el Comité Judicial de la Cámara, que permitiría a ciertos jóvenes adultos que de niños fueron traídos a los Estados Unidos de manera ilegal o que sobrepasado su admisión legal para obtener la residencia permanente legal en los Estados Unidos si cumplen con ciertos requisitos.
